Mission & Vision
Hope Her Way is driven by one mission; help low-income single parents gain access to and persist through post-secondary education. We envision that each participant will successfully obtain their desired post-secondary degree; and that in doing so, this will lead to upward career mobility, financial stability, and improved social capital.
GUIDING PRINCIPLES
I . Offer comprehensive programs and services that support character development and post secondary educational opportunities for our clients.
II. Identify socio-cultural, economical, and educational foundations that positively influence college matriculation and degree attainment; while working to address poverty, underachievement, and barriers to educational persistence for low-income single parents.
III. Collaborate with other service institutions, including but not limited to: other non-profit organizations, colleges and universities, K-12 schools, churches, daycare facilities, public assistance programs, and families to create support systems and partnerships needed to buffer systemic effects that stifle positive educational outcomes for our clients.
